The idea

Commit to one target. Then check the result.

Most golfers know their score but not where their shots really went. One Target Golf closes that gap in three simple steps.

  1. Choose one target

Pick the aim point for the shot. The app suggests one from the hole layout and your own club carries, and you can drag it anywhere.

  2. Hit with intent

Play the shot as usual. Distances, wind and club advice stay a single glance away, so your attention stays on the target.

  3. Check the landing

At the ball, mark where it finished. The app measures the miss against your target: short or long, left or right, and by how much.

Shot from the tee to a target, with the landing shown off to the left and short B Your target A Tee C Landing 9% short · 6% left
Illustration with sample numbers: aim at B, finish at C, and see the miss as a percentage of the shot's distance.

In testing Target checks, Drill mode and the miss charts are still in testing and may change before release.

Know your misses

See your pattern, not just your score.

Every checked shot becomes data you can read at a glance: where you finish, how far off, and which way.

Sample dispersion chart: tee shots and approach shots around the aim point, each with an average and a spread ellipse Long Short Left Right
Tee shots Approach Illustration with sample data. Dot = one shot · diamond = average · ellipse = where 80% land.

Fair across clubs

A 240-yard drive and a 120-yard approach compare fairly because every miss is shown as a percentage of that shot's own distance.

Tee shots and approach

Two series with an average miss in plain words, the area where 80% of your shots land, and a short note when there are too few shots to trust.

Hole-by-hole arrows

The scorecard marks every hit and miss, with an arrow for short, long, left or right, and front 9 and back 9 totals.

Practice that scores

Drill modes turn target practice into a game, with points for landing inside the target, plus a Game Center leaderboard to challenge friends.
